CCSHousing Web Application Terms of Service

By using the CCSHousing Web Application and its services, you signify your agreement to our terms as set out below:

2. Acceptable Use Policy

If you do not agree to our terms, please do not use the application.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us. We respect and protect your privacy. The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat will not rent, sell or share your personal information with any other companies for their promotional use. We will not distribute your personal information without your consent or unless required by law to do so. You accept this Privacy Policy when you register for, access, and use the services offered on our web application.

Acceptable Use Policy

Safety

We do our best to keep the CCSHousing application safe from unauthorized access and possible unauthorized alteration, removal or disclosure of information, but we cannot guarantee it. We need your help to keep the application safe, which includes the following commitments by you:

1. You will not upload viruses or other malicious code.
2. You will not solicit login information or access any account belonging to someone else.
3. You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any user of the system.
4. You will not use the CCSHousing system to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious or discriminatory.
5. You will not do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proposed working or appearance of the CCSHousing application, such as denial of service attack or interference with page rendering or other functionality.
6. You will not facilitate or encourage any violations of this Policy.

Registration and Account Security

Housing Applicants (users) provide their valid email address and password along with their real names and information. Here are some commitments you make to us relating to registering and maintaining the security of your account:

1. You will not provide any false information, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.
2. You will not create more than one personal account.
3. If we disable your account, you will not create another one without our permission.
4. You will not use the CCSHousing application if you are a convicted criminal.
5. You will not share your password, let anyone access your account, or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account.
6. You will not transfer your account to anyone without first getting our written permission.

About Advertisements of House(s) for Rental

Our goal is to deliver advertising of houses (for rental) that is valuable to the CARICOM Secretariat Staff that will also be valuable to our house applicants. In order to do so, you agree to the following:

1. You give us permission to use your housing information or related content (contact information).
2. We do not give your information to CARICOM Secretariat Staff without your consent.

Termination

If you violate the letter of spirit of these terms, or otherwise create risk or possible legal action against us, we reserve the right to stop providing all or part of our services in the CCSHousing application to you. We will notify you of our decision to do so by email or upon your subsequent attempt to access your account.
